  1. Pace/Speed Heat Map

Like with the new Cardio Heat map, how about having something similar for Speed/Pace as well? It would be great to be able to better visualize where I'm slowing down just from the map

    • fix the "you've fallen behind warning" that tells you to click the flag give up when you've fallen too far behind pace.

Yes, sometimes you fall behind. It seems that if you're more than two minutes behind, you start hearing about the 'give up' flag. It's very un-motivating! I think maybe after 4 or 5 warnings, it should revert back to giving you stats on how far behind you are, instead of relentlessly telling you to tap out.

      • Option to export ALL tracked data (not only the GPX data)

Hi! I would like to have an option to export all the tracked data (time, heart rate, avg. pace, splits, etc.) e.g. as Excel, CSV, XML, etc.
So I could analyse my data more efficently.
Maybe two options: One for the "gerneal" / calculated data and one option for the "raw" logged data-set.

Thank you for your suggestion. We believe that your windows phone is the best place to analyze your data and help you understand your performance level. GPX export can already be used for most of the purposes you have listed here, and we currently have no plans to further extend the export feature.

        • OneDrive support

Add the option to export tracks (GPX) to OneDrive.

          • Group runs by route

Recently I wanted to know if I'm improving my time at one of the routes I take. I had to scroll through history and find the route by looking at distance. It would great to have them in one place grouped by route.

Good point! We’ll evaluate this. Meanwhile you can give the route a name and thanks to Track Runner’s track recognition all runs of the same routes will be named automatically. This will make it at least easier to spot than just searching the distance.

            • Route planning

One of the features I like from another running app is the option to create your own or follow routes from other people and see how you have performed the same run. It is a different type of challenge than the straight forward distance/time comparison. Running 1km at sea level is not the same as at 1000m high and even the slightest inclination might cheat the values you have obtained.

              • Intervals in distance+time

Could it be possible to set intervals in time+distance so that TR can coach us each repetition on a distance to cover within the set time (for example 120m in 30s).
                Far better for MAS training.
                Cheers

Hi, Thank you for this suggestion. The system already seems capable of doing that with a bit of elementary math on your part to make it work.

Since the interval setup lets you base your intervals on time or distance and set a pace you can use the equation pace = time in min/distance in km to solve for any of the three variables. So for your example if you run 120 m in 30 s you run 1000 m (=1km) in 4.16 min so now you can set either a 30 sec interval or a 120 meter interval with an approximately 4.16 min pace and achieve the desired result.

If this turns out a popular request and too bothersome for most users to do the math we may look into integrating this. Let’s hear from your fellow track runners who vote for this feature.

                • Constant pace option (for indefinite/random distance)

I like the pacer function, but I don't quite get its limitations: I have to multiply the pace I want with a predefined distance number larger than or equal to the distance I'm about to run, and even then there's a progressive algorithm calculating pace, starting off slow and increasing pace. I find this unwieldy. Why?
                  a) Why isn't there a constant pace option? (e.g. pace me at a constant 5min/km for an indefinite distance)
                  b) As it is, why are there predefined distances? Why not allow the user to input a random number there (ok, validate for positive, real,…

Thank you for your comment and praise!

Regarding point a): there is. You only have to disable “negative splits” and splits will be constant throughout your paced run. You can easily check it by disabling negative splits and then looking at the splits table.

As for the pre-defined distances – this is under internal review. Stay tuned! :)

                  • Add music player

I know many runners don't like or need to hear music while running but I personally do like to hear music which motivates me as I run.
I would like the option to select a music playlist or to start some other music app within this app.

                    • Display pace in km/h respective mp/h as well

Maybe I just do not get it ;) But it would be great to have the speed displayed in km/h (mp/h) as well as min/km (min/m) during the run and also on the graph in the diary.

Thanks so much for this great app!

Thanks for your suggestion and praise. Actually, the app works in both the dark and white theme (I dare you to experiment with theme and accent colors for a unique TR look). The only notable exclusions to this are diary entries and the Genius, which we kept all white to improve legibility. Makes sense? Or were we overthinking this? Keep commenting to let us know. :)
